Shriya Chemudupati (she/her/hers)
President
Shriya Chemudupati is a senior majoring in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience, with minors in Science, Technology, and Law and Adaptive Brain & Behavior. Post graduation, Shriya plans on attending law school and hopefully pursuing medical malpractice, intellectual property, and or criminal defense work during her legal career. Her favorite roles in Mock Trial are being the closing attorney for her team or an expert in the biological science field. Outside of Mock Trial, she's the Secretary General of VT's very own Model United Nations Conference (VTMUNC II), Phi Alpha Delta (pre-law fraternity), VT Swara, and advocacy organizations for preventing sexual assault and promoting solutions for mental health. What she loves the most about Mock Trial is obsessing over the case and coming up with moot theories and random love triangles with her teammates!

Anna DuVall
(she/her/hers)
Vice President
Anna DuVall is a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Political Science. After graduating from Virginia Tech, Anna plans on attending law school with a focus on either criminal defense work or family law. In VTMT, her favorite roles are playing a fun layperson, like a kooky automotive tech, or a professional expert witness, like a forensic accounting expert. Outside of Mock Trial, she’s a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). As a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, she hones her leadership skills and connects with like-minded peers. Anna also works part-time as a waitress at Bull and Bones Brewhaus and Grill. Her favorite part of being part of VT’s Mock Trial team is meeting wonderful and intelligent people to work with and competing together!

Shaan Patel
(he/him/his)
Skills Development Chair
Shaan Patel is a sophomore majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech. After Shaan graduates, he plans on getting his Master's degree in the same field! Our Skills Development Chair enjoys both witnessing and attorneying in Mock Trial, hence why he wants to help the rest of the team and newcomers become more adept at the skills required for "mocking." Outside of mock trial, Shaan enjoy playing sports like basketball and pickleball. Howver, you may see our Skills Development Chair trying foods at uncommon restaurants because that's one of his favorite things to do. While our SD Chair loves all things "mock-related," Shaan loves to break down and analyze our case problems to find those hidden clues and trial-winning information.

Camden Johnson
(he/him/his)
Treasurer
Camden Johnson is a senior majoring in Computer Science. Camden's post-graduation plans include being a part of the Air Force currently. Camden enjoys being a team captain and guiding our new members through the complicated but interesting world of competitive mock trial. Outside of VTMT, our treasurer enjoys reading, basketball, and hiking. You can sometimes catch our treasurer reading intense fantasy novels or hiking throughout beautiful Southwest Virginia. His favorite part of mock trial is the experiences we have for team bonding and networking throughout the year like our annual "Mocksgiving" or our end-of-the-semester VTMT Awards! In addition to this, he loves making objections in trial, especially ones that knock our opposing counsel right off their feet.

Daniel Sidaros
(he/him/his)
Secretary
Daniel Sidaros is a senior majoring in Political Science with a focus on National Security. When he graduates, he plans on going to a law school. Although he may not know which school, he wants to attend, he does know that he wants to study international law. Regarding Mock Trial, Daniel enjoys being both an attorney and a witness. However if he had to choose (which he doesn't want to), he would be an attorney. He really enjoys working on puzzles and figuring out a case. Outside of the club, you’ll find him spending time with friends, trying out new foods, or playing volleyball at the Rec-Center. Our secretary’s favorite part of Mock Trial is having that "Eureka" moment when preparing for the case and all the puzzle pieces fit together. Along with that, he loves meeting new people and making new friends through Mock Trial at Virginia Tech.

Rochan Sonti
(he/him/his)
Competiton and Logistics Chair
Rochan Sonti is a sophomore majoring in Computer Science at Virginia Tech. After graduating from VT, he plans on becoming a software engineer. In mock trial, there's nothing Rochan loves more than a P Close (a closing for the Prosecution or the Plaintiff). In addition to Mock Trial, Rochan is involved in South Asian associations like the Society of Indian Americans. Outside of clubs at VT, Rochan loves to play pickleball and travel. You can catch our Competition and Logistics Chair playing on the courts at campus with friends and traveling to some of the world's most interesting destinations. What he loves the most about Mock Trial at Virginia Tech is that he loves making friends and he enjoys the friends that he's made within our program.

Lalit Manmari
(he/him/his)
Public Relations Chair
Lalit Manmari is a sophomore majoring in Computer Science at Virginia Tech. Outside of Virginia Tech, he's planning on pursuing a career in the computer science field, furthering his academic pursuits at VT. In mock trial, you can catch our Public Relations Chair having the time of his life playing a varying range of witnesses in trial. One of his most favorite parts about being a witness is getting crossed by the other team's attorneys (especially when they try to hold back a laugh when Lalit's cracking jokes on the stand). Besides mock trial, Lalit enjoys spending time with friends, graphic design, playing pickleball, and is a member of the Society of Indian Americans. What he loves the most about Mock Trial at Virginia Tech is the people around him and getting to know the newer members of our organization.

Nick Holden
(he/him/his)
Activity and Fundraising Chair
Nick Holden is a senior majoring in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience, with minors in Science, Technology, and Law and Adaptive Brain & Behavior. After graduating in 2025, Nick plans on attending law school. In mock trial, Nick enjoys portraying attorney roles and getting to ask the harder questions to witnesses during competition. Besides mock trial, our A&F chair is a member of Delta Chi, a Greek-life fraternity on campus, and Phi Alpha Delta, a pre-law co-ed fraternity. He also enjoys weight-lifting and finds neuroscience particularly interesting (that's why he's majoring in it)! What he loves the most about Mock Trial is getting to meet people with similar interests to him and becoming closer to his teammates throughout the year.
